THE GOLDEN RIVET

This is a 'Must Have' for every sailor.

The Rivet is 30mm in length with one side of the shaft flat for engraving (your ship's name or your own).

H.M.A.S. is on the crown, highlighted in black.

RAN TASK FORCE VIETNAM PLAQUE

This beautifully acid etched plaque, has been up dated to include all the campaign ribbons, relative to the Logistical Service of all RAN ships and units, which served in the Vietnam war.

Inadvertently, I left the HMAS QUICKMATCH 1962 trip off the plaque and I thank Dr. John Carroll for pointing this out.

HMAS QUICKMATCH 1962 can be engraved or a small plate attached to reflect this oversight, at your direction (see example).

When ordering, please add the engraved text you wish to reflect your Vietnam Service (see example).

These badges have proved very popular. I believe I mentioned that I presented one to Admiral Lord Boyce and to his partner Lady Rutherford at our AGM in October. My Wife and I were included in a small party of Ton Class members/wives who were invited to the Palace of Clarence House to meet with H R H Prince Charles. He had agreed to continue his patronage of the Ton Class Association for another five years and we were presenting, to him, a Watercolour Painting of the Ton Class vessel HMS Bronnington, which he was Commanding Officer back in the 1960's. We discussed the badge, which he found very attractive, and I sent one to him the next day. I received a reply from his Equerry saying the Prince was very pleased to receive it.
