Subject: Sun Princess Cruise -8/09

We need expressions of interest of persons who would like to do a cruise of 18 days around Australia on 25/8/09 leaving Fremantle arriving Sydney. P&O will subsidise $200 towards air fares from the east coast inc Adelaide to Fremantle only.

The intention is to get 75 applicants before asking for any deposits. In other words how fair dinkum are they.

The ports are 10 of, Fremantle-Geraldton-Broome etc. You can get the catalogue at any travel agent. The code trip is S915 Northern Explorer.

The cruise cost is inside JJ grade $3517, outside EE grade $4773 both prices include Govt taxes. There is also $150 credit for onboard spending. Seasick? At 77000 tons not likely. One of our WA members just returned from Singapore, no problems. Stabilisers fix that problem.

The target number is 400 persons which sounds a lot, but is only 200 couples. At that time we can approach P&O to go over the wreck of HMAS SYDNEY2, with some justification.

We have chosen this route for our elder persons and descendants who can't travel on a warship.

will you publicise this and see what results, final decision will be made 11/08 if a goer.
